The author gives here a short exposition of the Orthodox teaching on the Kingdom of Heaven. This biblical theme is treated first in the Old Testament — as the expectation of the Kingdom of Messiah, but it was blurred by an earthly, vision of it.

Christ, with His teaching clearly revealed the supercosmic, heavenly character of His Kingdom — as coextensive with His militant Church, as well as His triumphant Church — in her eschatological fulness.
