Professor Borislav Lorenc was one of the pioneers who initiated dialogue between psychology, psychoanalysis and religion in our country. His contribution has not yet been sufficiently explored. He was an active follower of modern trends in scientific and philosophical thought. He opposed Freud’s interpretation of religion as a neurosis and frustration of normal development and individuation, and he offered a profound analysis of religious experience.
