This paper discusses the elements of threepart formula of Christ’s natures – „Christ is of (from) two natures, in two natures and two natures“ – very often used by Maximus the Confessor in his defense of Orthodox Christology. The author emphasizes its importance and suggests that this formula represents deepening of previous Christological thought and that it is firmly established in Triadology.
