»The heart has its own reasons«

pages: 93-117

The author tries to prove that the efforts of the enemies of Christianity are meaningless and vain, when they endeavour to deny the historic character of Christ's person on a scientific basis. Such efforts have their origin in an a priori negative attitude and hatred towards religion in general and Christianity in particular. For such atheistic historians of the kind of the Soviet historian Vipper, Christ simply has to disappear from the scene of world history.

By critisizing the standpoint of this materialistic writer, the author discloses the veracity of Pascal’s immortal saying that »the heart captivated by hatred towards Christ does not want to listen and hear the arguments of reason which obstinately witness for Jesus of Nazareth«.
